  • The newlywed couple had gone missing on May 23 while visiting Cherrapunjee

Digital Desk: In a shocking turn of events, Sonam Raghuvanshi, the wife of Raja Raghuvanshi, who was brutally murdered during their honeymoon in Meghalaya, has been located and rescued from Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh.

The newlywed couple had gone missing on May 23 while visiting Cherrapunjee.

On June 2, Raja Raghuvanshi's body was discovered in a deep gorge, sparking an intense investigation as the search for Sonam continued.

Police have arrested three suspects believed to be involved in Raja's murder.

Disturbingly, reports suggest that Sonam herself had allegedly masterminded her husband's murder, adding a chilling twist to the case.

Raja's mysterious death during the couple's honeymoon had initially raised suspicions among his family, who demanded an investigation by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

The couple had travelled to Meghalaya on May 20 and were last seen on May 23, leaving Nongriat village after exploring the Double Decker Root Bridge.

The scooter they had rented was later found abandoned near a cafe along the Shillong-Sohra road, deepening the mystery surrounding the case.
