Digital Desk: A brutal act of inhumanity. Crime rates have seen a steadfast situation in recent times in India. One such incident took place a month ago, a waiter identified as Pankaj (26) was allegedly beaten to death during a wedding event in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad after a used tray he was carrying touched some guests.

On November 17, Pankaj was working as a serving staff at Ankur Vihar's CGS Vatika when the incident occurred.

During the ceremony, some of the used dishes that Pankaj was carrying touched Rishabh (guest present at the ceremony) and two of his companions, resulting in a brawl.

Pankaj died after collapsing on the ground during the battle with Rishabh and his buddies. Manoj and Amit are the names of the other two accused.

When Pankaj failed to return home the following day, his mother contacted the police. During the investigation, authorities questioned persons present at the guest house, and his last known location, and collected evidence.

Rishabh and his companions hid the body in a neighbouring jungle to avoid being discovered. On November 18, police retrieved the body a day after the event.

The three culprits- Manoj Gupta, Amit Kumar and Rishabh have been arrested by the police.
