Digital Desk: In a heartwarming incident, five-year-old Ansuya Ghosh, a student of Shishu Bihar School, has won the hearts of many with her selfless act of kindness as she voluntarily donated her long hair to a cancer-stricken woman, offering a glimmer of hope amid a challenging battle.

Sanghamitra Shaligram, age 50, who is undergoing treatment at the Nagpur National Cancer Institute, has lost her hair as a result of chemotherapy. A social group in Bangalore heard about her request for a hair transplant and immediately got in touch with Animesh Ghosh, Ansuya's father and a resident of Baradowali, Agartala. Ansuya's family decided to donate her hair out of a sincere desire to help others.

Ansuya's hair was cut and given to Sanghamitra with the support of her parents, a gesture that speaks volumes about the power of compassion and unity in the face of adversity.

Sima Chakma, her mother and a teacher by profession, expressed over her daughter's initiative and urged others to support those battling cancer.
