Digital Desk: Former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan became a father for the second time. Irfan and his wife Safa Baig were blessed with a baby boy on December 28.

Irfan shared the news with his fans through his social media platform. The pacer revealed the baby's name as he shared a photo of him holding his child on social media.

Sharing the news, Irfan also affirmed that both the baby and the mother are healthy and are doing well.

"Safa and me welcome our baby boy SULEIMAN KHAN. Both baby and mother are fine and healthy. #Blessings", Irfan tweeted.

Irfan and Safa Baig tied the knot in Mecca on February 4 2016. They have been together for years now. They become parents for the first time with an older son named Imran Khan Pathan, who was born on December 20, 2016.

On a work note, in 2006, Pathan became the only bowler to take a Test hat-trick in the first over of the match (vs Pakistan at Karachi). Regardless, the production run did not last, and after the start of 2006, he started to lose speed and swing steadily, and his wicket-taking abilities dwindled.

Apart from cricket, Pathan was a competitor in the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa in 2015. He has impressed many with his dancing talent.

In addition, he is about to make his acting debut in a Kollywood movie Cobra. Moreover, Irfan Pathan and Yusuf Pathan jointly founded The Cricket Academy Of Pathans.

Lately, Pathan was named the ambassador of the celebrated Indian football club, Mohammedan Sporting SC. The club had communicated the news on their social media.

The tweet read, "With immense happiness and fulfilment, BunkerHill Sports announces Irfan Pathan as the new Brand Ambassador of Mohammedan Sporting Club Official."
