It is also important to ensure that the power is switched off before undertaking a cleaning process on a dirty switchboard so as to eliminate the possibility of an electric shock. Inform other members of your household to ensure no one accidentally turns the electricity back on while you’re cleaning. Safety should always come first.


Toothpaste: Make It Shine:

Do you think that toothpaste is only used to clean teeth? Think again! Toothpaste is surprisingly effective at cleaning stained switchboards. It removes dark spots and restores shine.


Follow these simple steps:

1.           Take a little bowl.

2.           Add 3-4 teaspoons of toothpaste with  2 teaspoons of baking soda.

3.           Add some water and stir into a smooth paste.

4.           Put this paste generously over the dirty switchboard. Let it sit for about 10 minutes.

5.           After 10 minutes,

6.           Clean it off using a soft cloth.


You will be delighted at the outcome, and your switchboard will be as perfect as new.
