Digital Desk: On Monday, a 24-year-old Srinagar's acid attack victim was taken to Chennai for specialised treatment after being injured in an acid assault last week. According to a family member of the victim, she would be checked by a team of doctors on Tuesday at Chennai's Sankara Nethralaya. She is joined by four people, one of whom is her mother and father. When the acid attack victim was returning home from the business unit where she used to work, the girl was injured in an acid attack in Wantpora, Hawal in downtown Srinagar in the evening of February 1. In the attack, the corneas of both eyes were damaged.
