Guwahati: The Kamrup district administration organized a meeting on October 1 in Guwahati. The district administration team distributed cheques as financial assistance to the beneficiaries under Prarthana and CM's COVID-19 Widow Support Scheme.

The distribution event was attended by Minister For Transport, Industry & Commerce, Chandra Mohan Patowari and Minister Health & Family Welfare, Information Technology, Science and Technology, Keshab Mahanta on Saturday at the Conference Hall of DC office Amingaon in connection with the Gandhi Jayanti.

The meeting started with Axom Sangeet. Then, minister Patowari administered the pledge for non-violence and peace on the International Day of Non-Violence.

The next matter of 'Swasthya Darpan,' a quarterly magazine published by the Health Department, was also launched during the distribution event.

Addressing the meeting, the ministers presented a corresponding overview of the health division and the contemporary scenario in Assam.
