Guwahati: The Kamrup Metro District Transport Office (DTO) has collected more than Rs 205,14,99,678 in revenue. The amount got collected during the 2020-21 financial year.

According to the report issued by the DTO, the revenue was collected from April 2020 to March 2021

On March 31, 2021, the DTO handled the all-time highest revenue number in a single day. The collection amounted for Rs 2,71,70,174. It is to be perceived that in the financial year 2019-20, total revenue of Rs 212,18,53,272 was collected.

The revenue amount seems to be pretty great amid mini lockdown and curfews in the state. Kamrup DTO Gautam Das said that it has become feasible for the active work of the officials and workers in the COVID-19 pandemic.

He further stated that the revenue amount collected in July 2021 is higher than that collected during July 2020.
