During the interrogation, he said that someone had given him drug-laced water and cigarettes.

Digital Desk: Amid the ongoing investigation of the drug case involving actor Shakti Kapoor’s son Siddhanth Kapoor, Karnataka Police will summon him for further inquiry, reports said.

According to reports, Shiddhanth will be asked to appear before the police for further inquiry in a week. Furthermore, the notice will be reportedly sent on WhatsApp as well as through a registered post.

The police explained that he would be questioned about his earlier claim that he was unaware that his drink had been spiked.

Siddhanth Kapoor was detained by Karnataka police in connection with drug use in Bengaluru in June. He was detained while having a late-night party inside the boundaries of Halasuru Police Station at a five-star hotel. After receiving a tip, the police carried out a surprise raid and detained 35 people.

Siddhanth Kapoor and other individuals were detained after raids were conducted by a 25-person police team. Medical tests had confirmed the consumption of drugs by Siddhanth Kapoor, and after being detained by police, he was released on station bail.

Notably, during the interrogation, he said that someone had given him drug-laced water and cigarettes.

In addition to Siddhanth Kapoor, the police also arrested Akhil Soni, the business manager of Mind Fire Solutions, businessman Harjoth Singh, digital marketing entrepreneur Hani, and photographer Akhil.

After conducting a raid at the rave party held at the luxury hotel, they were able to seize 10 grams of Ganja and 7 grams of MDMA crystals.

It may be mentioned that further investigations are underway into the matter.
