Guwahati: Sensation prevailed in Lalganesh in Guwahati after a four-member gang came in a Renault Duster and shot at a man in a jewellery shop.
The man identified as Liton Mazumdar is undergoing treatment at Hayat hospital and is said to be in a critical condition by the medical authorities.

Meanwhile, police have recovered CCTV footages showing the four running away in rickshaw and scooty after shooting Liton.
It is yet not clear why Liton was shot at by the four. While police have suspected this incident to be of dacoity, though no conclusion can be ascertained at this preliminary stage.
