Digital Desk: Lata Mangeshkar, who has been in the ICU at Breach Candy Hospital, Mumbai since last month, is in critical condition said, the hospital authority a while ago.
"Veteran singer Lata Mangeshkar's health condition has deteriorated again, she is serious and is on the support of ventilator. She is staying in the intensive care unit and will be monitored by doctors." said Dr Pratit Samdani.
A few ago, she was believed to be recovered from covid-19 and pneumonia, but she was transferred to ICU from ventilator support.
On January 11, the 92-year-old singer was admitted to the hospital after testing positive for Covid-19.
She is known as the 'nightingale of India' and has been awarded the Bharat Ratna, India's highest civilian honour. She's also received the Padma Bhushan, Padma Vibhushan, Dadasaheb Phalke Award, and a number of National Film Awards.
