Digital Desk: Neeraj Chopra, India's Golden Boy of Athletics, is prepared to begin his quest for the top podium slot in the coveted Diamond League 2022. The events final is set to take place in Zurich on Thursday, with Neeraj among the favourites to win.
The Diamond League, which began on May 13 in Doha, will now see a two-day Grand Final on September 8 and 9. A total of 32 track and field events will take place. Neeraj, who won the Diamond League event in Lausanne last week, is motivated to add more trophies to his treasured trophy collection.
Neeraj is now fourth in the overall standings on the 'Road to the Final.' A total of 6 athletes had qualified for the final. They are:
