Mamata paid a visit to legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan at his Jalsa home...


Digital Desk: West Bengal's Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee, arrived in Mumbai on Wednesday for the third INDIA alliance summit. In advance of the meeting, Mamata paid a visit to Amitabh Bachchan at his home in Jalsa. 


The 80-year-old actor reportedly welcomed Mamata Banerjee to his home for tea on the festival of Raksha Bandhan, as reported by news agency ANI.  

Aditya Thackeray greeted Mamata Banerjee as she landed at the Mumbai airport earlier today.


The West Bengal chief minister and the actor's wife, Jaya Bachchan, get along well. Mr Bachchan even went to the first Kolkata International Film Festival (KIIF) opening ceremony the year before, when Mamata even pushed for the actor to be named Bharat Ratna. 


Things you need to know about the I.N.D.I.A. Alliance meeting in Mumbai-


I.N.D.I.A bloc is made up of 26 political groups, including Mamata Banerjee's All India Trinamool Congress (TMC). The group has scheduled their third meeting for August 21 and September 1 in Mumbai. 


However, The bloc will make final choices during this meeting on a variety of matters, including who will be the alliance's convenor and who will be inducted as new allies. The bloc will also decide on the alliance's logo and final campaign strategy ahead of the important Lok Sabha Elections in 2024.


Amitabh Bachchan's work life-


The actor is now preparing for the 15th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC). He was most recently seen in Sooraj Barjatya's Uunchai, opposite Anupam Kher and Boman Irani. 


He is currently working on numerous projects, including Tiger Shroff's Ganapath, Kalki 2898 AD, and an untitled movie with Shah Rukh Khan.
