Digital Desk: In a shocking incident, a man brutally murdered his parents in Assam’s North Karimganj on Sunday. The accused, Abdul Haleem, allegedly entered his family home and attacked his father, Abdul Salem, with a sharp weapon.
As per reports, when Haleem’s mother Badrun Nessa attempted to intervene and save her husband, she too fell victim to her son’s violent outrage. Haleem attacked her with a sickle, resulting in the immediate deaths of both his parents.
In a disturbing twist, Haleem reportedly recited verses from the Quran after committing the heinous act and posted the recitation on social media before fleeing the scene. This act has left the local community in shock and disbelief.
