The state government took a significant step by giving official positions to National Games medalists while responding to athlete strikes that demanded the fulfillment of prior promises.
The distinguished sporting authority appointed Arjuna Awardee Naorem Roshibina into the position of Deputy Superintendent of Police (Sports) through exceptional assessment. Employee reorganizations together with administrative modifications received approval from the Cabinet. The Governor’s address received approval by the Cabinet for presentation during the 7th session of the 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly beginning on February 10.
