Imphal: A head constable of Manipur Police was arrested along with another individual in connection to a huge drug seizure in the state on Wednesday.
Brown sugar worth Rs 90 crore was recovered and the team of the Narcotics Cell of Imphal East busted the drug manufacturing unit at Yaripok Tulihal Awang.
The team seized approximately 40kg of brown sugar and 430kg of raw materials used for manufacturing brown sugar during the raid.
The head constable has been identified as Muzibur Rahman who is 42-year-old, and the other accused has been identified as Mohammad Firoj.
Further investigation is going on into this matter.
