The situation continues to be tense in Manipur, as fresh incidents of violence were reported this morning (May 11) in Molngat village, near Kamvai, bordering Churachandpur district in Manipur.
According to official sources, new shooting incidents were reported in Molngot village near Kamvai on May 11, where clashes allegedly erupted between the Kuki and Meitei communities at 8 a.m.
Reportedly, a few houses have been set on fire, and a violent gunfight is taking place in the area between suspected militants and security troops.
