Manoj Kumar Goswami to be honoured with Sahitya Akademi Award 2022

Digital Desk: Sahitya Akademi announced the winner of the annual "Sahitya Akademi Awards 2022" on Thursday.

This year's Sahitya Akademi award will be given to prominent Assamese storyteller and journalist Manoj Kumar Goswami for his book titled "Bhulsatya." The book "Bhulsatya" was published in 2017 by Bookbell Publishing. Notably, Goswami had previously won the "Katha Award."

Other well-known books by Goswami are:

3. Pasjon Bondhu

4. Aluminum Anguli

5. Rajneetir Aliye-Goliye

Meanwhile, other recipients of the awards from Assam are:

1. Dr Juri Dutta for Translation for her book titled Kacharethi: Araya Nari.

4. Kharga Bahadur Nepali for Nepali language play 'Sign'
