"Being from the Jammu and Kashmir border area, I have seen cross-border firing in my region, which has motivated me to join the CAPF so that I can serve in the border area as well," Simran Bala told ANI.


Digital Desk: Simran Bala, from the Jammu and Kashmir border town of Nowshera, became the first girl in the Union Territory this year to pass the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) Examination. She was ranked 82nd out of 151 candidates who qualified for the UPSC CAPF this year. "This year, I am the only girl from Jammu and Kashmir to pass this exam." I am quite proud and appreciative. "Being from the Jammu and Kashmir border area, I have seen cross-border firing in my region, which has motivated me to join the CAPF so that I can serve in the border area as well," Simran Bala told ANI.


"My wish has come true. I've been assigned to the Central Armed Police Forces as an Assistant Commandant. I will carry out my responsibilities with zeal. "My family and neighbours are very proud of my accomplishment," she continued. Bala described his experience as follows: "I studied until Class 10 here, after which I went to Jammu for my higher secondary education." After that, I graduated from Gandhinagar. I was in my final semester when I began studying for this exam, and by God's help, I passed it on the first try."


"My parents, teachers, and many others helped me." "Hard work, perseverance, and consistency aided me in approaching this exam," she explained. "This is an all-India level examination," she stated of her extraordinary achievement. Because of the internet age, you will be able to pass the exam whether you are from a border location or a major city."


"If you have it in you, you will be able to crack it," she told the hopefuls. You must work hard, be honest, and be in good health."


On June 2, the Union Public Service Commission issued the CAPF Final Result 2021. The examination was passed by 151 candidates.
