Digital Desk: In yet another shocking incident, the body of a young woman was recovered under mysterious circumstances in the Hatigaon area of Guwahati on Thursday.
As per initial reports, a young woman from Nongpoh, Meghalaya, was discovered dead on the streets of Hatigaon and the deceased woman, identified as Rwitika Sonar.
According to sources, Rwitika was pursuing her course at the Jettwings Institute.
Meanwhile, a youth believed to be her "lover" was taken into custody by the police right after the incident came to light. The youth has been identified as Rupesh Rai, a resident of West Bengal.
There were rumours that the duo were allegedly staying in a live-in relationship and Rupesh Rai was employed at a private company.
