A document outlining a plan to launch an armed attack to turn India into a "Islamic nation by 2047" was found on July 13 by Bihar Police.

Digital Desk: The Union Home Ministry on Friday turned over the Phulwari Sharif case, which involved the extremist group Popular Front of India (PFI), to the National Investigation Agency (NIA).

A top NIA officer said, "We (NIA) are in the process of taking over the PFI case involving Phulwari Sharif."

The MHA instruction came just days after the NIA raided Jamia Maria Niswa Madrasa and arrested a teacher called Asgar Ali. In connection with the case, two people were arrested in the Phulwari Sharif neighbourhood of Patna, Bihar's capital.

Multiple incisive papers, including an eight-page document titled "Vision 2047 India," have been found in several raids conducted by the Bihar Police thus far.

The book details a strategy to launch an armed attack on India to transform the country into an 'Islamic nation by 2047.'

According to agency sources citing police authorities, PFI has also developed anti-India propaganda booklets. The accused were trained in Patna just days before Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit.

'Honey-trapped' SIT associate

As previously reported, the Bihar Police has also formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate the issue. In reality, as revealed by Times Now earlier today, one of Patna Police's SIT personnel received many calls from a Pakistani number in what is thought to be a case of honey-trapping by Pakistan's espionage agency ISI.

The case drew widespread attention not only in Bihar but throughout India. Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan stated on Friday, "When someone is hallucinating, they speak gibberish. Speaking gibberish is not prohibited. The more you pay attention to them, the more they will benefit. They should be avoided."
