There were six more tracks that were considered for the 'Best Global Music Performance' award...

Digital Desk: A song that features Prime Minister Narendra Modi's speech "Abundance in Millets" is a nominee for a Grammy under the category of "Best Global Music Performance." A portion of the Prime Minister's speech, delivered in March of this year at the Global Millets (Shree Anna) Conference, is featured in the song by Falu and Gaurav Shah.



"I am glad that India is leading this campaign today as the world is celebrating 'International Millet Year,'" PM Modi stated during his speech at the Delhi event. Additionally, he stated that "Shree Anna" will add a "new dimension to the prosperity of India and the world" with the efforts of the farmers and citizens.

This portion of the Prime Minister's speech was included in the song by Falu and Gaurav Shah.



There were six more tracks that were considered for the 'Best Global Music Performance' award.

Falu Shah has received several Grammy Award nominations; in 2022, she won the award for "Best Children's Album" for her album "A Colorful World." She has previously collaborated on projects with her husband, Gaurav, and the two were a member of her band, "Foras Road."
