Digital Desk: A team of artists from Assam were looted by unidentified men while on their way to Shillong, Meghalaya to shoot a music video on Sunday.
Reportedly, they were looted near Nongstoin in Meghalaya.
As per police reports, three miscreants approached them in a red Alto car and threatened them. The miscreants stole 6,000 rupees' worth of goods, including choreographer Manoj Maan's glasses and other essentials.
The artist team consisted of nine people, including actress Priyanka Saikia.
A witness who had seen the entire incident was also present at the spot.
It is suspected that the miscreants were under the influence of alcohol when they committed the crime.
The team has filed a complaint with Assam's Boko Police Station. The police have launched an investigation regarding the incident.
