Aizawl: The Deputy Commissioner of Mizoram issued a notice appealing to locals of Mizoram to maintain peace concerning the transportation purposes of non-locals within the Kolasib District on Thursday.

As per the notice issued under the Office of the Deputy Commission, there shall be no restriction on the movement of non-residents travelling through the Kolasib District.

It also added that the locals should not cause any harm or disturbances to the non-residents of Mizoram in connection to the clash of Assam-Mizoram border issues.

In case of any concern associated with the non-residents of Mizoram with the region, there should be an immediate reporting to the following officers:

  1. Lalvenhimi Ralte, Executive Magistrate ( Phone: 89747615511)
  2. Vanlalduata Sailo, Sub Dividional Police Officer, Kolasib (Phone: 9436142158)
  3. Vanlalzawni, Dy. Superintendent of Police, Kolasib ( Phone: 8575711742)

In this regard, any non-residents travelling within Kolasib District can inform the officers mentioned above regarding any disturbances faced during travel.
