Margherita said, "Gaurav Gogoi’s current body language is very disappointing. We thank him for accepting 1% yesterday. The Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma never says anything without having information, and now we are all just waiting for September 10."

Digital Desk: Union Minister of State (MoS) for External Affairs Pabitra Margherita commented on Deputy Leader of the Congress in Lok Sabha and Minister of Parliament (MP) Gaurav Gogoi's alleged link to Pakistan's ISI on Monday.

Margherita said, "Gaurav Gogoi’s current body language is very disappointing. We thank him for accepting 1% yesterday. The Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma never says anything without having information, and now we are all just waiting for September 10."

"An Indian going to Pakistan is not like going to any other friendly nation. These days, when Gaurav Gogoi is asked a question, he responds with another question. When asked which direction the sun rises, he said the sun sets in the West. When asked about whether he went to Pakistan, he talked about which leaders went to which countries, etc..", the union minister added.

Pabitra Margherita further said that changing the Pradesh Congress President is their internal matter. Gaurav Gogoi has been working as a Super President. In Upper Assam, Gaurav’s photos are displayed large, while Bhupen Bora’s photos are small. Congress lost the election under the leadership of the Super President, he added.

He also wished that a person with Pakistan Connections would not be made president.

Furthermore, he also talked about the Raijor Dol leader and MLA Akhil Gogoi. Margherita said that he has a good personal relationship with Akhil Gogoi.

"I have a good personal relationship with Akhil Gogoi. I’ve heard he is suffering from some illness, so I won't comment much on him. I am currently working in Sivasagar. Akhil gogoi is not doing well as things didn’t go well in his Panchayat."
