The mother passed away on Wednesday, while Rivansh, the newborn, was admitted to Shatabdi Hospital in Kandivli West for treatment and subsequently discharged since he was fine. According to Bawariya's testimony, a strawberry vendor notified him at 8 p.m. that his wife and kid had been involved in an accident underneath the under-construction flyover bridge at Kora Kendra. He dashed towards the signal, only to see them wounded and unconscious. According to an officer, Bavaria informed the police that other witnesses told him that his wife was nursing their son when a car with a green number plate ran them down and fled the scene. The 29-year-old balloon vendor, Ladbai Bawariya succumbed to her injuries on Tuesday night. We have registered a case against the unidentified driver and are searching nearby areas for CCTV footage, the officer added.
