Dibrugarh, Assam: In a strategic move set to significantly boost academic and research cooperation across the Northeast, Nagaland University and Dibrugarh University formally entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on August 20, 2026. The agreement, signed at Dibrugarh University, aims to establish a framework for sustained collaboration between the two prominent regional institutions.
Officials from both universities highlighted that the MoU is designed to create extensive opportunities for academic interaction, facilitate crucial knowledge exchange, and promote collaborative initiatives involving faculty members, researchers, and students. Representing Nagaland University at the signing ceremony were Vice-Chancellor Prof. Jagadish K. Patnaik and Finance Officer (In-charge) Prof. Joy Das.
