Digital Desk: Naka checking is actively underway in Jalukbari ahead of the upcoming Assam Elections.
The inspection is taking place near the DCP office in the area.
The operation is being conducted under the supervision of ACP Gautam Kumar of West Guwahati, with support from the Jalukbari police team.
During yesterday's checking, authorities successfully seized approximately Rs 25 lakh, prompting the administration to heighten its vigilance.
The operation is now being carried out even during daytime hours to ensure comprehensive monitoring.
ACP Gautam Kumar confirmed that naka checking will continue until the elections, emphasizing the importance of maintaining strict oversight during this critical period.
