Digital Desk: Two persons have been arrested in connection with tiger poaching at the Nameri National Park in Assam's Sonitpur district. 

Reportedly, Kanai Daimari and Uda Basumatary have been identified as the arrested pair.

 It should be noted that the arrest was made in connection with the alleged killing of a Royal Bengal Tiger that was rescued from Umananda Island in Guwahati last year.
