Digital Desk: On Thursday, Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu shared updates on the condition of his wife Navjot Kaur Sidhu, who has been diagnosed with cancer. During his wife's fifth round of chemotherapy, he uploaded photos of her. "Time to take her to Manali for solace," Siddhu said.

“The wounds have healed but the mental scars of this ordeal will remain. Fifth chemo underway. Finding a good vein went all in vain for some time, and then Dr Rupinder’s expertise came in handy. She refused to move her arm, so spoon-fed her,” the Congress leader wrote on Twitter.
“Keeping in view massive vascular reactions after the last chemoâ€æexaggerated by heat and extreme humidityâ€æ time to take her to Manali for solace!!,” Siddhu wrote.
On social media, Siddhu has been sharing information on the treatment given to his wife.
The Congress politician, who spent 10 months in prison after being found guilty in a 34-year-old case of road rage, was freed earlier this year.
He was forced to step down as the state Congress leader after the Punjab Assembly election in February 2022. Later, he was also subject to party action for misconduct and oppositional activity.
