Superstar Rajinikanth reportedly handed away the mangalsutra to Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan. The couple exchanged vows today.

Superstar Rajinikanth was one of the first few guests to arrive at the wedding.
According to reports, Rajinikanth gave the mangalsutra to Vignesh Shivan, who wrapped it around Nayanthara's neck. The newlyweds received the Thalaiva and Annatthe actor's blessings. As per reports, formal verification is still pending.
Nayanthara and Rajinikanth have a close-knit relationship. They've appeared in blockbuster movies, including Chandramukhi, Darbar, and Annaatthe.
Moreover, She also had cameo appearances in Rajinikanth's films Kuselan and Sivaji. Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan admire Rajinikanth and choose to have him present them with the mangalsutra on their wedding day.
The couple's 7-year love reads like a modern-day fairytale, and their admirers can't get enough of them now that they're married. On June 9, the Kollywood couple wedded in a small South Indian wedding ceremony.
In revealing their latest pictures, Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan appear like a match made in heaven, clad in red and white coordinated traditional attires.
