Guinness World Records, Khapangi, who was born on November 14, 2004, is now seventeen years old.


Digital Desk: Dor Bahadur Khapangi (Nepal) has officially been confirmed as the shortest teenager living (male).


Khapangi, born on 14 November 2004, is now 17 years old.


The measurement took place on 23 March 2022 in Kathmandu, Nepal. 


 Khapangi was confirmed to be an average height of 73.43 cm (2 ft 4.9 in).


Khapangi was presented with his Guinness World Records certificate by Nepal Tourism Board CEO Dhananjay Regmi.


"I'm happy that my brother has received a Guinness World Records certificate," said Khapangi's older brother, Nara Bahadur Khapangi. 


His brother acted as a spokesperson for Khapangi during the ceremony since the Teen was camera shy. 


With his parents and siblings, the youngest son of two Nepalese farmers, Khapangi lives in the Sindhuli district, around 130 kilometers (81 miles) southeast of the capital. 


At present, Khapangi is studying in his village's school.


Furthermore, his brother hopes and believes that being recognized by Guinness World Records will help progress Khapangi's education.


 As per reports, "Dor Bahadur was all fine when he was born. However, he didn't grow from the age of seven. His peers grew but Dor Bahadur didn't. We don't know why," said Nara Bahadur Khapangi.


Previously, the shortest living teenager (male) title was held by Khagendra Thapa Magar. 


Just like Khapangi, Khagendra was also Nepalese.Khagendra, who was born in October 1992, was born with primordial dwarfism and stood 65.58 cm tall (2 ft 1.8 in)
