Sourav Baruah allegedly attacked his paternal uncle, Tarun Baruah, with a sharp weapon, stabbing him in the neck.
The assault left Tarun Baruah severely injured and bleeding, prompting his immediate referral to Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMCH) for medical treatment.
Following the attack, the Baghjan police detained two individuals for questioning at the location where the incident occurred.
Sourav Baruah, the prime suspect, was already on the police's wanted list prior to this event.
