In a recent interview with a news website,
Neha Kakkar discussed the issue and claimed that not everyone is as sensitive
as she is and as a result, she "can't blame" those who make fun of
her.
She stated to the press, "Since so many
people lack any emotion, I can't really blame them. I would come out as
artificial to those who lack emotion. But sensitive folks, like myself, will
relate to and understand me. There aren't many people in today's world who have
empathy for others' suffering and want to assist them. That characteristic is
a part of me, and I don't regret having it."
Viewers sometimes criticize reality television for intensifying the drama by focusing on the competitors' personal
lives. According to Neha, a reality show requires more than just singing and
dancing, therefore they also pay attention to the competitors' and their
families daily lives in order to make the show enjoyable.
She believes that viewers can relate to these
people and their stories and that when they showcase a contestant's
accomplishments following significant sacrifice, viewers can do so since
everyone knows someone who has overcome challenges to achieve their goals.
Neha Kakkar continued, "We are only
portraying on the television what occurs in our families”.
