Newborn Abandoned Behind Hospital in Titabar, Sparking Outrage

Digital Desk: A newborn baby was discovered abandoned behind the Tyroon Tea Garden Hospital in Titabar, Jorhat, sparking outrage within the local community.

According to reports, an elderly woman heard the cries of the newborn and immediately searched the area, eventually finding the infant lying on the pavement at the back of the hospital. Locals suspect that the newborn was left behind in an attempt to avoid the burden of illegal motherhood.

The newborn has since been referred to the Jorhat Medical College with the help of local residents and the Bandarsalia police.

Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident and are urging anyone with information to come forward.

Meanwhile, local organisations and social services are mobilising to provide assistance and resources to address the underlying issues that may have contributed to this tragic event.
