Digital Desk: To accommodate the additional demand of passengers, the Northeast Frontier Railway has decided to operate a one-way special train from Guwahati to Jammu Tawi.
On August 31, 2022, the special train will make a single trip. At 8:30 am on August 31, special train No. 05612 (Guwahati-Jammu Tawi) will depart from the Guwahati railway station.
The special train will travel on September 2, at 09:45 am, through Goalpara Town, New Bongaigaon, New Jalpaiguri, Katihar, Gorakhpur, Lucknow, Moradabad, and Ludhiana Jn. A total of 16 coaches will comprise the special train.
According to a press release, there will be 14 sleeper class coaches, 01 seating/luggage coach, and 01 AC three-tier coach.
