Digital Desk: Nine youths from Assam's Moran have been misled and trapped into forced labour in Arunachal Pradesh, as per their family members.

They said that the youths were recruited for a job at Silapathar by a man named Michael Sador and left on November 5.

The boys were eventually brought to Aalo in Arunachal Pradesh, where they were allegedly made to work.

Their family also claimed that their employers subjected the youths to mental and physical torment.

"If any of the boys wanted to go home, they threatened them with grave consequences either way," a family member alleged.

Although a case was filed at the Moran police station, no action has been taken, he added.

Meanwhile, family members have requested the local administration to investigate the situation.
