Bhagirathi Devi was speaking at the BJP-organized one-day dharna on Saturday at the Ramnagar...

Digital Desk: BJP MLA Bhagirathi Devi made a scathing attack on Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar, stating that he smoked 'ganja' (marijuana) and never appeared in the state assembly without 'chilam' (pipe).

"Nitish Kumar does not sit in the Bihar legislative assembly until he has chilam. When he leaves the assembly in between, he enters the lobby, consumes ganja, and then enters the assembly once more. Nitish has a chilam made of silver. I am completely familiar with him. Nitish Kumar is not respected or given any significance," the BJP legislator from Ramnagar claimed.

Bhagirathi Devi was speaking at the BJP-organized one-day dharna on Saturday at the Ramnagar Block Headquarters in West Champaran to oppose Nitish Kumar's decision to leave the BJP and form an alliance with the Mahagathbandhan.

JD(U) Hits Back

Bhagirathi Devi was speaking at the BJP-organized one-day dharna on Saturday at the Ramnagar Block Headquarters in West Champaran to oppose Nitish Kumar's decision to leave the BJP and form an alliance with the Mahagathbandhan.

The BJP lawmaker who made heinous accusations against the chief minister of Bihar has come under attack from the Janata Dal (United). Rajiv Ranjan, a spokesperson for the Janata Dal (United), claimed that Bhagirathi Devi was forced into making these claims by the BJP's top leaders.

"The BJP lawmaker is making nothing but baseless accusations. We are aware of Bhagirathi Devi's soft nature, but the senior party leadership in Bihar is pressuring her to make these accusations. Such remarks are an effort to damage our leader's reputation, which is unacceptable," said Rajiv Ranjan, a JD(U) spokesman.
