Digital Desk: The Noida Police saved a man from what would have been a suicide attempt. According to police, the man in his early 20s said on Instagram that he would hang himself to death. On Saturday at around 2:00 pm, he uploaded a statement along with an image of a rope. But, the police in Gautam Buddh Nagar saved him in time.
He then admitted to authorities that he had a fight with his wife on Friday night, which caused him to experience melancholy and become psychologically unbalanced. The man lives in Chandrawal village, which is in the Dankaur police station district.
The media unit of Lucknow's Director General of Police noticed his posting. They reported it to the Noida police media unit. Following that, they took immediate action based on the knowledge and started looking for the account holder.
The nearby Dankaur police station was informed once the location was found to be Chandrawal village. The local police post's in-charge, Shyam Mandi, was thereafter notified, and a squad promptly arrived at the youth's home, the source claimed. The young person and his family were later brought to the police station.

"The local police and the social media cell officials are being rewarded for their quick response and timely intervention in this case," the police chief said. Police officials urged the public to dial 112 in case of any emergency.
