So far, 112 supporters of Amritpal have been arrested. In their search for Amritpal, the police launched flag marches and conducted searches all over the state.

Police apprehended numerous others for interrogation while detaining 78 members of Singh's group during the statewide operation. Nine firearms, including a revolver, seven 12-bore rifles, 315 bore rifle, and 373 live rounds of various calibres were found by the police.

According to the authorities, Waris Punjab members are connected to four criminal cases involving causing class strife, attempting murder, attacking police officers, and interfering with the lawful performance of public workers' responsibilities.
