Duliajan: The United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA) has issued a letter protesting the job vacancies that were made available only for the youths from Tinsukia, Dibrugarh, Charaideo, Sivasagar and Arunachal Pradesh’s Changlang district specifically by the Oil India Limited.

The ULFA has demanded that the job vacancies made available by Oil India Limited should hire youths from all over Assam if it intends to hire youth from the State.

The ULFA stated in the letter, “The rightful residents of Assam have got full right over the resources of the state and the job opportunity that any organization or industry established in Assam through these natural resources of the state is also the right of the Assamese people.”

Further, ULFA through its letter urged Oil India Limited not to limit its vacancies only for the above-mentioned districts of Assam, rather open it for all the eligible candidates of the State.
