Guwahati: Assam’s proud Lovlina Borgohain reached her homeland Assam on August 12, at 9 am. She was greeted at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport, Borjhar by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and Sports Minister Bimal Bora.

Following, the grand welcome Borgohain will lead to Sankardeva Kalashetra, where the State government has organized a felicitation ceremony, accompanied by a grand rally.
To welcome Borgohain Hotel, Taj Vivanta has tightened up the security in and around the area where the hotel authorities will give her a grand welcome.
Moreover, Assam State Transport Corporation (ASTC) has developed a customized chartered bus, which will take Borgohain to her birthplace Barpathar, Golaghat district.
