Guwahati: On Sunday evening, the Guwahati customs department held one person and 22 gold biscuits from the Downtown bus stoppage.
The arrested person was identified as Ketan Singh. He is a resident of Mumbai.
As per sources, the arrested Ketan Singh was involved in illegal gold trading for a long time now.
The reports state that the seized amount of 22 gold bars counts for the market value of Rs 2 crore.
