Opposition's No-Confidence Motion Against Centre Defeated In Lok Sabha
Digital Desk: The Opposition bloc's motion of no-confidence against the Centre was defeated by a voice vote in the Lok Sabha on Thursday.
The no-confidence motion was tabled in the Lok Sabha by Congress leader Gaurav Gogoi on behalf of the Opposition bloc I.N.D.I.A. In the voice vote, the Speaker found that the 'nos' were in the majority, following which the motion was defeated.
Notably, this is the second time Modi has faced a no-confidence motion.
