Digital Desk: Three boys, including a juvenile, have been arrested in relation with the Holi harassment incident in Delhi. When a video of a Japanese woman being harassed by a group of boys, presumably for the purpose of painting colours on her during Holi, went viral on social media, the police reportedly began looking for those responsible.

According to the authorities, the lady was a Japanese tourist who lived in the national capital's Paharganj district before she departed for Bangladesh.

Police claim that they have arrested three men, one of whom is a minor, and that they have all admitted the crime. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central) Sanjay Kumar Sain stated that the footage is being analyzed to determine the specifics.

"No complaint or call relating to any kind of misbehavior with any foreigner has been received at the Paharganj police station. An email has been sent to the Japanese embassy requesting help in establishing the identity of the girl or any other details about the incident," Delhi police said.

The video, which has gone viral online, shows a group of males splattering colour on a woman who appears to be uncomfortable in their presence. In addition, one of the boys is seen cracking an egg over her head.

Police have stated that the juveniles they have apprehended will be prosecuted under the DP Act. These three people are locals from Paharganj. The police have stated that any further legal action will be determined based on the reasons and in accordance with the girl's allegation.

The head of the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW), Swati Maliwal, said she will notify the Delhi Police to investigate the video and bring the culprits to justice.

The National Commission on Women also tweeted about the video to draw notice to it. It requested for a formal complaint to be made with the Delhi Police Department.
