However, when asked why the reporter slapped the youngster, the unverified account that posted the video responded in the comments section, "DK (Don't know)".

Digital Desk: Social media users are now sharing a video of a Pakistani reporter slapping a small kid for allegedly heckling her as she spoke to the camera. The journalist can be seen covering the Eid al-Adha celebrations in Pakistan in the video, which has received more than 3.8 lakh views on Twitter as of right now.

There are locals surrounding the journalist, including women and children. But as soon as she finishes her report, she slaps the young boy next to her who is wearing a white shirt. According to media accounts, she smacked the child for taunting her as she was speaking to the camera. However, when asked why the reporter slapped the youngster, the unverified account that posted the video responded in the comments section, "DK (Don't know)".

But the event has divided Twitter users. The youngster must have misbehaved, some social media users tweeted in support of the journalist, while others criticised her for taking unnecessary action. "He really deserved that slap & she correctly did so," one of the users tweeted. This boy appears to be bothering her continuously despite her cautions (Ye larka kaafi der se tang kar raha tha ise)," another account wrote in Hindi. "1-2 baar mana bhi kya lekin nahi mana ho raha thi," she responded in agreement. Violence is not the solution, according to others criticising the reporter's actions on Twitter.

After witnessing this video, many people on social media were perplexed as to why the journalist lost her calm, even though the internet was taking sides. To better grasp the situation, a Twitter user added the following comment to the post: "Urge to know the before and after tale of this clip."
