Digital Desk: In a swift operation, Guwahati police today, around 4 PM carried out a raid at Pandu Sadilapur (Outal) and arrested Pranjal Das (30), Son of Bharat Das of Khanamukh. In the process of the raid, officers recovered 10 vials of suspected heroin weighing approximately 10.38 grams from his possession.
The seizure was made in the presence of independent witnesses at the spot, and the substance was tested using a drug detection (DD) kit. The illegal contraband has been impounded as the process is due and required.
The operation highlights the ongoing campaign against drug trafficking in the area by the Guwahati police.
