Digital Desk: The Assam Regimental Center organized a passing-out parade for the first batch of Agniveers in Shillong, Meghalaya.

In a glittering ceremony held at the Parsons Parade Ground in Happy Valley, as many as 44 Agniveers passed out in a scintillating ceremony, according to an official statement released by the Center.

The procession was being reviewed by Brigadier Dinesh Chandra Singh Kanyal, Sena Medal, Commandant, Assam Regimental Center. He praised the students for upholding impeccable standards and urged them to continue striving for excellence and perfection.

The ceremonial passing out parade also marked the end of the Training Center's schedule for recruits. According to the release, these Agniveers will serve in Assam Regiment Units in various areas across the country.

The Agniveers celebrated a successful transition from eager recruits to valiant soldiers swaying to the beat of the Regimental Song.
