The police in Uttarakhand are coordinating with the families of the accident victims.

Digital Desk: In the Pauri Garhwal district's Birokhal area, where a bus carrying more than 40 people crashed into a canyon on Tuesday, the Uttarakhand police and SDRF officials have discovered 25 dead bodies to date. According to the state's DGP Ashok Kumar, 21 individuals were also saved overnight and sent to hospitals.

There were 45 to 50 individuals on the bus who were travelling in a wedding procession. The incident happened in the Pauri Garhwal area of Uttarakhand.

The marriage procession left from the Laldhang region, according to Haridwar's SP city Swatantra Kumar Singh.

The police are working with the victims' families to coordinate their efforts.

The Pauri Police and the SDRF have arrived on the scene to give rescue and relief.

"The bus carried 40-42 passengers, including ladies and children. We are in constant communication with the Pauri police and people "He stated.
