Kareena's book, The Pregnancy Bible, was released on her son Taimur's birthday in 2020...

Digital Desk: A petition was filed in the Madhya Pradesh High Court seeking an FIR against actor Kareena Kapoor. A practicing attorney, Christopher Anthony, filed the petition, claiming that by using the word "Bible" in her book, the actor has allegedly insulted the Christian community's religious sentiments.

Kareena's book, The Pregnancy Bible, was released on her son Taimur's birthday in 2020.

The plea was submitted to the bench of Justice Dinesh Kumar Paliwal, who asked the petitioner to include the State as a party and scheduled the matter for hearing in six weeks.

Anthony alleged in his petition that Kapoor has instilled the habit of insulting and defaming the Christian community by doing something or other that is unacceptable.

To back up his allegations, the petitioner cited a song from the Bollywood movie Brothers titled 'Mera naam Mary hai, Mary sau takka teri hai,' alleging that the 'cheap item song' contained the name of Mary, the mother of the Lord Jesus, who is regarded as holy and holy in the Christian community.

Even last month, in July, a request for an FIR against the actor was made by the religious community.

On the work front, Kareena will soon be seen alongside Aamir Khan in Laal Singh Chaddha, the Hindi version of Tom Hanks' cult classic 'Forrest Gump', which will be released on August 11.
